While we do not offer dove-releasing services ourselves, we
have established strict guidelines for our referrers and partners to follow.
This collaboration aims to prevent disputes and provide peace of mind for
everyone involved. Below are the essential rules for trained dove releasing
- Timing and Weather Conditions: Doves must not be
released at night or during inclement weather, such as rain, snow, or high
winds. It is essential to ensure the doves have enough time to return to their
loft before sunset.
- Type of Birds: Only trained homing pigeons
should be released, as Ring-necked doves do not possess the necessary survival
instincts.
- Professionalism: All displays and releases must
be conducted in a professional manner. Arrive on time, as agreed upon in your
contract, and dress appropriately in professional attire.
- Client Communication: Reach out to clients ahead
of time, and ensure they are aware of your service policy. This includes
providing a fair refund for any deposits or payments if a release must be
canceled due to weather or other circumstances beyond the customer's control.
- Safety Concerns: Never release birds if
conditions become unsafe due to weather or unforeseen events. Additionally, do
not release birds beyond a distance that allows for safe flight.
- Well-Trained Birds: Only well-trained birds
should be used for releases. While holding birds for display, ensure they are
in suitably sized baskets or cages that provide comfort and safety.
- Secure Housing: Keep the baskets or cages in
secure areas, with temperatures that are neither too hot nor too cold.
- Release Policy: Please inform clients that we exclusively
release well-trained white pigeon stock outdoors during daylight hours. Under
no circumstances should types of doves other than homing pigeons be released,
although other types may be used for display.
By adhering to
these rules, we aim to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone
involved.
